More than 350 women entrepreneurs from across Ireland attended the 10th Women in Business All-Island Female Entrepreneurs Conference held at the Carrickdale Hotel in Dundalk. The event marked a milestone edition of the annual gathering, which focused on supporting female-led businesses through learning and networking.
The conference, sponsored by AIB, was centred on the theme “Keeping it Real.” It brought together founders, business leaders and emerging entrepreneurs to discuss business challenges and growth opportunities.
The programme included 18 speakers and two keynote sessions. Entrepreneur Laura Tenison, founder of JoJo Maman Bébé, delivered the main address and spoke about building and scaling a global brand. Organisers said the event aimed to provide practical insights and encourage peer learning.
This year’s edition introduced new formats, including interactive sessions, a marketplace for founder-led products, a business support hub and dedicated networking spaces. These additions were designed to support collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants.
Women in Business Director Caroline Coyle said the 10th edition reflected the strength of the female business community and the need for practical, experience-based learning. She said the updated format was designed to deliver direct value and support business growth.
AIB Head of Business Banking Karen Kidd said the event highlighted the ambition and energy of women entrepreneurs. She added that the bank’s support was focused on helping businesses grow through access to expertise, connections and financial support.
The conference continues to act as a platform for women entrepreneurs to connect, share experience and explore opportunities for business development across Ireland.
