Background-
Chicago entrepreneur LaTanya Orr has graduated from the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business program, a step she says sharpened her approach to business growth and widened her work with women entrepreneurs.
Orr, an author and business strategist, founded The FoundHERS Suite, a collaborative workspace and community that helps women business owners grow through education, connections and shared opportunities.
The Goldman Sachs program offers business education and resources to Black women sole proprietors. Orr said it deepened her understanding of enterprise growth, financial stewardship and long-term strategy.
She joined the program while The FoundHERS Suite entered a new phase. Orr used that time to rethink how the community could keep serving women entrepreneurs while she plans the next chapter of the physical workspace.
That effort led to BridgeWRX, her strategic advisory and thought leadership platform. It helps women move from building brands to building lasting businesses through strategy, leadership development and intentional growth. Orr said BridgeWRX extends the Suite’s mission and works alongside it.
Since graduating, Orr has launched ShiftShop, a practical business workshop series, and Gather & Shift, a networking and shared learning event for entrepreneurs. She also writes The Bridge on Substack and HERspectives on LinkedIn, and she is building the BridgeWRX Leadership Library with books and tools drawn from more than two decades of her experience.
Orr said her passion remains helping women discover what is possible, build with intention and create something that lasts.
