Happy Woman Solutions Limited has teamed up with Mayden Microfinance Bank to launch the Happy Woman Match Fund, a financing scheme built to help women entrepreneurs acquire equipment needed to grow their businesses and lift their earning potential.
The scheme tackles a major hurdle for women-owned businesses, limited access to productive equipment caused by financial constraints. Speaking at the launch, Kunle Erinle, CEO of Happy Woman Solutions, said economic empowerment starts with giving women access to opportunities that let them build lasting businesses.
Erinle called the fund a key milestone in the organisation’s push to clear barriers holding back women-led businesses, noting that it gives entrepreneurs a practical way to gain productive assets while building sound financial habits.
He said the programme will first reach Happy Woman community members in Lagos and Abuja, where the initial beneficiaries will be chosen, reflecting the group’s push toward long-term financial independence for women.
Foluke Alakija, founder and managing director of Mayden Microfinance Bank, said the bank remains focused on expanding financial inclusion through fresh financing solutions for underserved entrepreneurs.
She said the programme will drive entrepreneurship and inclusion among women-led businesses, urging eligible entrepreneurs to apply for equipment support that strengthens their operations.
Through the partnership, both organisations hope to help more women build thriving businesses, generate jobs and support Nigeria’s economic growth, with applications now open to eligible Happy Woman community members in Lagos and Abuja.
