The Real Estate Employers’ Federation (REEF) has appointed Linda Baker as its new President, marking a historic first for the organisation. Ms Baker becomes the first woman to hold the top position in REEF’s 60-year history following the federation’s recent executive election.

REEF is Australia’s leading workplace advisory service for the real estate industry and represents more than 1,850 employers across all states and territories. The organisation plays a key role in advising, advocating for and protecting real estate employers in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Ms Baker is a respected industry leader from Ray White Norwood and an award-winning Ray White Alumni. She is widely known for her people-focused leadership style and consistent professional performance. Her career has been shaped by a strong focus on trust, integrity, and long-term relationships with clients and teams.

Before becoming President, Ms. Baker served on the REEF Committee of Management and worked as Vice President. She said these roles helped strengthen her leadership skills and deepen her understanding of the challenges faced by real estate employers.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms Baker said REEF plays a critical role in supporting employers through workplace regulation and change. She said she looks forward to working closely with the committee and executive team to ensure members remain informed, supported, and protected.
