Background:

Aradel Holdings Plc has appointed Nnoli Akpedeye as an independent non-executive director to its Board, effective February 2, 2026. The appointment will be confirmed by shareholders at the company’s next annual general meeting.

The company said Akpedeye’s appointment aims to strengthen board oversight and bring independent perspectives to its governance and decision-making.

Akpedeye has more than 36 years of experience in engineering, oil and gas, legal and arbitration services, and management consulting, both in Nigeria and internationally. She is a COREN-registered engineer and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).

She spent many years at Shell Exploration and Production Companies, where she was Technical Planning Manager. Her work included civil engineering design, project planning and construction, facility management, technical audits, and business strategy.

Outside her corporate career, Akpedeye is an entrepreneur and advocate for women in engineering. She founded Contego Servo Limited and Perfectus Laundi Limited, and in 2013, launched the Introduce a Girl to Engineering program to inspire Nigerian girls to pursue engineering.

Akpedeye is a former President of APWEN, a founding member of WIEN, and currently serves as COO of Compos Mentis Legal Practitioners and Chair of the Compos Mentis Foundation.

She will help Aradel Holdings grow with strong, diverse leadership.
